This place just opened up by me. I am super impressed. The sushi was amazing. Like New York amazing. We don't see that in Michigan. Staff was very friendly and smiley. It was very clean and they had a system in place to make sure we are all safe during these times. Def will go again!

My usual sushi place was closed, but I was happy to find So Moon! I ordered the red dragon and blue dragon rolls and they were both very good. I got a combo with the ramen, which was delicious! I also really enjoyed the miso soup and seaweed salad. I ordered takeout because of Covid, but once it's over I'll be sure to dine in, too. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere.

I have dined in once and placed two carry out orders since So Moon has opened. Each and every time, the food is delicious! My usual carry-out go-to is the crunchy California roll and the Philly roll but I have also had the salmon on a mountain roll and one of the dragon rolls when I dined in. With the carry out orders, they do extra touches to make sure your food doesn't spill such as taping the soy sauce to the container and taking the time to wrap the soup so it doesn't leak. Everything I have tried has been fresh and yummy. The miso soup and the salad with the ginger dressing are also both really good. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very nice. I'm so glad that So Moon is close to home. I look forward to exploring more of the menu.

I have tried just about every other Asian cuisine in the Livonia area, so I was excited to hear about this So Moon place. I noticed the place looked clean and the staff was nice as soon as I walked in. I'm usually more into authentic Japanese or Korean than Asian fusion, but So Moon did not disappoint. I ordered the tuna avocado bowl, which included seaweed salad on a bed of rice. Had to try the sushi as well, so I got an eel cucumber roll...which was less expensive and more quantity than I expected. Overall the food had great taste and was very fulfilling. The portions in the tuna avocado bowl were especially considerable for a $7 bowl. I was able to get a piece of tuna, avocado, seaweed, and rice in every bite. The order was about $13.50 in total, which is great! I may even order less next time because I was definitely full by the end of the meal.I look forward to coming here again to try out more of the menu!

I feel so happy that a great Japanese restaurant has opened so close to my house, especially since they offer a great selection of poke bowls! At such an affordable $8-$15 dollars a meal I can see myself getting weekly take out. Please bring your business to So Moon! 🙂
